We have been vacationing in Duck since 1995, spending from 1 to 3 weeks each year. In 2011 we spent two weeks in May in Duck and while we were there we looked at a house on Poteskeet Drive that was pretty run down. We thought it over carefully and before we returned from vacation we put down a contract. After an inspection and a realization that underneath its skin it was in good shape and that it had a lot of potential we bought the house in July 2011 and renamed it “DuckAway”.
