Duck Boardwalk

If you don’t yet know about the Duck Boardwalk then you should go check it out. It runs along the sound side of the downtown area of Duck, connecting almost all of the stores and restaurants along the Sound. You can access it from several locations at various stores and at the Duck Town Hall. Even so, the boardwalk runs through several quiet sound-front areas away from all the activity of Duck. There are also a couple of areas to launch small kayaks and at least one platform for crabbing. The following pictures give some sense of the boardwalk and the Sound.

A different look at the Duck boardwalk in January 2014. This is a section with a lot of shops in the middle of winter. You can see it is quiet, there is a good bit of frozen water, and lots of foraging ducks and geese.
