It runs along the sound side of the downtown area of Duck, connecting almost all of the stores and restaurants along the Sound. You can access it from several locations at various stores and at the Duck Town Hall. Even so, the boardwalk runs through several quiet sound-front areas away from all the activity of Duck. There are also a couple of areas to launch small kayaks and at least one platform for crabbing. The following pictures give some sense of the boardwalk and the Sound.

A section of the natural area along the boardwalk in 2013.

People walking on the Duck Boardwalk in 2013.

A view of the Duck boardwalk in 2013 that shows a lower section for crabbing, a solar array for lights, and the Town of Duck water tower in the background.

A picturesque section of the Duck Boardwalk in 2013, approaching the back of the church.

A different look at the Duck boardwalk in January 2014.
